Just Listen

Amazing how much it takes to make a person listen. Well you can listen now and prove me wrong. Open your eyes and pay attention. Even when all things are going wrong there is so much hope, so much time. Never let yourself or anyone go, for you will not get them back. Your heart does not always know best, but it knows the worst. It knows the worst pain and how hard it is to go on. Your mind knows what will pull you through. So listen while you can. You never know who's suffering. Look for that person all alone. No one ever deserves to be alone. I may not be dead but that doesn't mean you can't listen. When someone is dead it's too late. They were strong but their heart was weak. Broken and bashed. So just listen when you get the chance. When things get rough just listen to the music. When life's going good, keep it up and bring others in. It's time to make a change and make sure no one dies young. Spread the love and the rainbow. Bring your sun to their rain and create beauty. Today is the day. No more tomorrow. Tomorrow will be too late. Some of us have been there and that is why we can help. Some of us are there and no one can tell. So from one broken heart to another, try your best to keep us from slipping.
